L'auteur de cette Grammaire ayant apporte un soin extreme a marquer la prononciation par l'accent, on a du s'attacher a reproduire scrupuleusement les accents du texte original.
Mais il faut savoir que Du Guez, par un systeme particulier, emploie l'accent place _sous_ la voyelle. Nous avons reporte l'accent au-dessus, conformement a l'usage moderne.
Cette substitution a d'autant moins d'inconvenient, que nulle part Du Guez n'emploie l'accent superieur; par consequent, il n'y a point de confusion a craindre. C'est un tres-petit detail dont il suffit que le lecteur soit averti.
